Storing Machine Safely
1.
Detach backhoe.
2.
Put boards under bucket and backhoe frame to prevent corrosion.
3.
Keep drains on bucket clear and positioned at bottom.
4.
Store backhoe in a clean, dry place.
5.
Raise seat to vertical position.
6.
Keep hydraulic hoses off of ground and not kinked.
7.
Install dust covers on ends of hydraulic hoses.
8.
Clean backhoe with water pressure.
9.
Paint worn or scratched areas.
10.
Lubricate all grease points.
11.
Keep boom lock pin and swing lock pin in locked position.
12.
Coat exposed cylinder rods and attachment hooks with thin film of grease.
13.
Put waterproof cover over backhoe if you store it outside.
