Disassembling Shipping Pallet (4300-4700 Tractors)

1. Place backhoe on level ground in a position that allows the tractor to back up to attachment hooks.

2. Remove plastic wrapping and shipping strap from operator's seat (A). Pull seat from shipping position and set aside for assembly.

3. Remove lag screws holding bumper plate (B) to pallet. Set aside bumper plate for assembly.

4. Remove plastic bag covering ends of hydraulic pressure and return hoses.

5. Remove lag screws (F), shipping straps (C), and wire ties (D) holding stabilizers (E) to pallet. Set stabilizers aside.

6. Backhoe may be left attached to pallet for stability until after it is attached to tractor. Pallet can then be dropped off of backhoe and discarded.
