Removing and Installing Engine Access Panel

Removing

1. Park the machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

2. CAUTION: Touching hot surfaces can burn skin. The engine, components, and fluids will be hot if the engine has been running. Allow the engine to cool before servicing or working near the engine and components.

   Let engine cool.

3. Adjust driver seat to the forward most position.

4. Raise and secure cargo box.

   Grasp corners (A) of engine panel. Lift up and pull rearward to unsnap rear and front lock tabs from seat base panel.

6. Lift panel high enough to clear cargo box latch handle (B) and rearward enough to clear passenger seat base (C).

Installing

1. Place engine panel into channels (D) on seat base panel.

2. Slide engine panel forward to engage three front tabs (E) into seat base panel slots (F).

3. Press down on rear corners (G) of engine access panel to engage lock (H) on seat base panel.

4. Lower cargo box.

5. Adjust driver seat to desired position.
