Install Rockshaft Assembly

A - Bolt

B - Rockshaft

C - Machine Frame Hole, Right

D - Machine Frame Hole, Left

E - Rockshaft Bracket

F - Bearing

G - Support Bracket

1. Remove bolt (A) and nut under left side of fender deck.

2. Install small end of rockshaft (B) through hole (C) on right side of machine frame, then pull large splined end through hole (D) on left side of machine frame. Make sure bracket (E) on rockshaft is pointing up.

3. Install one bearing (F) on end of shaft, with flange end of bearing against machine frame.

4. Install support bracket (G) on end of shaft.

   H - Rockshaft Bracket

   I - Clevis Pin, M6 x 40

   J - Cotter Pin, M2.5 x 16

   Install rockshaft bracket (H) facing upward as shown. Secure with M6 x 40 clevis pin (I) and M2.5 x 16 cotter pin (J).

   K - Rockshaft

   L - Bushing

   M - Cotter Pin, M2.5 x 20

   Secure right side of rockshaft (K) with bushing (L) and M2.5 x 20 cotter pin (M).

   N - Bearing

   O - Mounting Plate

   P - Cotter Pin, M3.2 x 32

   Q - Bolt

   R - Bolt, Flange, M10 x 30

   Install second bearing (N) onto mounting plate (O), and install assembly onto shaft. Secure with M3.2 x 32 cotter pin (P).

8. Secure front side of assembly with bolt (Q) and nut, removed earlier.

   • X300R and X305R Only: Secure front side of assembly with M10 x 30 flange bolt and M10 flange nut provided.
   
   

9. Secure rear side of assembly with M10 x 30 flange bolt and M10 flange nut (R).

     S - Nut, Flange, M10

     T - Washer, M10 x 34 OD x 3W

     U - Bracket

     X300R and X305R Only: Secure rear side of assembly with M10 x 30 flange bolt and M10 flange nut (S), with M10.5 washer (T) under bracket (U).
