NOTE: Upon Key 'on', all LCD segments and warning symbols (except left & right turn) are illuminated to verify they are functional. The overtemp LED (G) will flash during the key-on (power-up cycle) along with the LCD top bar graph segment & icon (P) to verify overtemp functionality.

A - Front Lock Indicator LED- This LED will illuminate when the 2WD/4WD/Front Lock selector knob is turned to 4WD+Front Lock and the front lock actuator is engaged (engine must be running).

B - Not Used.

C - Malfunction Indicator LED - This LED will illuminate when ignition key switch is turned to the RUN position and engine is running. The LED will illuminate when sensors malfunction. If LED is on, stop machine and shut off engine. If LED is active after restart, contact your John Deere dealer.

D - Turn Signal LED - The left or right signal LED will illuminate when activating turn signal switch while ignition key switch is in RUN or STOP position. (NOTE: The turn signal LED’s are only active if you have installed an optional kit on your machine.)

E - Battery Discharge LED - This LED will illuminate when the ignition key switch is in the RUN position and the engine is not running. This LED is illuminated when battery voltage is below 11.5V for greater than 10 seconds, whether engine is running or not. If this LED is on, turn off any optional electrical kits. If problem persists, see your John Deere dealer.

F - Engine Oil Pressure LED - This LED will illuminate when the ignition key switch is in the ON position and the engine is not running. If this LED turns on while the engine is running, engine oil pressure is too low. Stop engine

G - Engine Overtemp LED- This LED will illuminate and flash for several seconds after the ignition key switch is turned from the STOP position to RUN position. It will begin to flash when the engine reaches an overheat condition. If this LED flashes, remove load on machine immediately. Ensure fan is operating and that there is no blockage of the radiator. Check coolant level only when radiator is cool enough to touch with bare hands.

H - Seat Belt Indicator LED - This LED will illuminate if the seat belt is not adequately secured.

I - Park Brake LED - This LED will illuminate when the ignition key switch is in the RUN position and the park brake is partially or fully engaged into the locked position.

J - Arrow Keys - These buttons are used to activate certain instrument display functions. For detailed instructions, see Using Instrument Display Arrow Keys in OPERATING.

K - Clock - The clock shows the current time.

L - Fuel Indicator - This will illuminate when the ignition key switch is in the RUN position. The bars indicate the amount of fuel left in the fuel tank. Eight bars means full tank, while no bars means empty. (NOTE: There is a delay in the display if the key switch is not left in the STOP position until after you are done adding fuel.)

M - Trip Meter, Odometer, Hourmeter Indicator - This indicator shows the accumulated kms/miles the machine has accumulated, along with a trip meter. The hour meter portion shows the accumulated number of hours the engine has run. The hour meter displays hours with the ignition key switch in the ON position, and accumulates and displays hours when the engine is running. The hour meter is intended to provide a means of monitoring machine usage for maintenance purposes. Use the hour meter to determine when your machine has reached the recommended service intervals.

N - Speedometer - The speedometer indicates vehicle ground speed in km/h or mph.

O - Not Used.

P - Engine Coolant Temperature LCD Icon - This Icon will illuminate for several seconds after the ignition key switch is turned from the STOP position to RUN position. It will begin to flash when the engine reaches an overheat condition. If this Icon flashes, remove load on machine immediately. Ensure fan is operating and that there is no blockage of the radiator. Check coolant level only when radiator is cool enough to touch with bare hands.

NOTE: Six bars means engine running hot, but not in an overheat state unless top bar, icon, and overtemp LED’s are flashing.

Q - RPM Indicator - This indicator will show engine RPMs.

R - 4WD Indicator - This indicator will show when 4WD or 4WD plus Front Lock is activated.
