Checking Battery Voltage

1. Disconnect negative (A) and positive (B) battery cables on main battery (C).

2. Disconnect negative (D) and positive (E) battery cables on auxiliary battery (F).

3. Using a battery load tester, check battery voltage for the main battery (C) and auxiliary battery (F).

Using Booster Battery

Follow instructions in SERVICE ELECTRICAL for using booster battery and to boost main battery (C).

When a dual battery kit is installed and you have several optional kits installed on your vehicle, you will use more charging power from the auxiliary battery (F). If using several optional kits on vehicle, the auxiliary battery (F) will be the battery that may need more frequent charging.
