Checking Oil in Enclosed Chain Housing

  1. Park machine safely. See Parking Safely in the Safety section.

  2. Disconnect the driveshaft from the machine and remove snow blower from Quick-Hitch.

  3. Set the snow blower on level ground.

    A - Oil Filler Plug

    Remove filler plug (A). Oil should be even with bottom of hole.


  5. If oil is low, add 80W-90 GL-5 Gear Oil.

  6. Install plug.

  7. No further maintenance to the enclosed chain is required.
