Checking Driven Clutch Rollers

1. Park the vehicle safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

2. Raise and secure cargo box.

3. NOTE: Clutch rollers can be inspected through enclosure exhaust port (B) without removing clutch enclosure covers.

   Move machine slightly forward or backward so clutch roller (A) can be seen through the exhaust port (B).

4. Check worn clutch rollers (A):

   1. There should not be any excessive wear, play, or metal-to metal contact.

   2. If replacement is necessary, see your John Deere dealer.

5. Lower the cargo box.
