Testing Reverse Pedal Interlock

Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

Start engine.

NOTE: If the park brake is set, PTO /Attachment will not start.
If PTO /Attachment is engaged and brake is pressed, It will continue
to run.
To start attachment, engage attachment engagement switch or
lever.

CAUTION: Avoid injury! Rotating blades are dangerous. Children
or bystanders may be injured by run over and rotating blades. Before backing up, carefully check the area around the machine.
Look behind the vehicle to be sure that there are no bystanders.

Begin reverse travel by depressing reverse pedal for hydrostatic
transmission or moving the transmission shift lever to the rear slot
(reverse) position and depressing pedal.
Result: Attachment should stop operation.
If attachment continues to operate as machine begins travel in reverse,
do not continue to operate machine.
