Switching to Open and Closed Modes

Avoid injury! Rotating belts and blades are dangerous.

  1. Stop machine on a level surface, not on a slope.

  2. Disengage mower blades.

  3. Lock the park brake.

  4. Wait for all moving mower deck parts to stop before you leave the operator platform.

    After exiting the operator platform and standing next to the machine, push down on lever (A).

    Rotate lever clockwise (C) to close or counterclockwise (B) to open.


  7. Ensure that lever has locked into desired position and lever no longer rotates.
