Removing MulchControl™


Removing MulchControl™

  1. Remove mower deck (See Removing Mower section in Vehicle/Mower Deck OM).

  2. For EZtrak™ and ZTrak™ 54-Inch mower decks only, remove right and left belt shields. (See Remove Belt Shields (EZtrak™, ZTrak™ 54-Inch Mower Decks Without Flip Covers) in the PREPARING section).

  3. Remove mulch blades.

    Remove four M8 locknuts (A) from top of mower deck, and remove stationary deflector (B) from discharge area.

    Remove top of handle and detent plate components: M8 locknut (C), washer (D), spring (E), handle assembly (F), and detent plate (G).

    Remove three sets of M8 hardware (H), and remove all deflectors from underside of mower deck.


  7. Install hardware back into any exposed holes that remain on deck after removing MulchControl™.


Storing MulchControl™

Clean and store all MulchControl™ parts in a clean, dry place.
