Using the PTO (Power-Take-Off)
NOTE: Any operating attachment should stop as the reverse travel
pedal is depressed with attachment engaged. Before operating the PTO,
see Using Reverse Implement Option (RIO) in this section. This machine is equipped with a 2000 rpm mid PTO.
Always operate engine at maximum speed when PTO is engaged.
NOTE: Tractors equipped with optional Front PTO kit installed,
the front implements will rotate without engaging RIO.
Engaging PTO

Reduce travel speed or stop machine.

After engine has warmed, move throttle lever up to maximum engine
speed.

Pull PTO switch (A) up. Instrument cluster PTO indicator
(B) comes on when PTO is engaged.
Disengaging PTO
NOTE: If reverse travel pedal is depressed, PTO disengages.
Push PTO switch down to disengage PTO. Instrument cluster PTO
indicator goes out.
NOTE: Any PTO interlock violations cause PTO indicator to flash
when PTO is not engaged.
