Attaching Broom to Front Quick Hitch

1. Park machine safely (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section).

2. Review instructions on using hydraulic control levers included in your tractor operator’s manual.

   Remove PTO shaft support (A) from storage position.

   Swing shaft support toward center of broom frame and position as shown. Place PTO shaft (A) onto support.

   Rotate both L-pins (A) on quick hitch to unlocked position with roll pins (B) in groves as shown.

6. Start tractor engine.

   Drive tractor forward and align broom mounting frame (A) with front quick hitch (B). Notches (C) in hitch must be lower than pins (D) on broom frame.

   1. Push lower hydraulic lever on tractor forward to lower hitch. Pull lower control lever rearward to raise hitch.

   2. Push upper hydraulic lever on tractor forward to angle hitch left. Pull upper hydraulic control rearward to angle hitch right.

8. Drive tractor forward slowly to engage pins with notches.

9. Raise hitch, verify that pins engage notches. Lower hitch until L-pins (E) snap into holes (F) on sides of broom frame.

10. Park machine safely (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section).

11. Verify that L-pins are in locked position and fully engaged in broom frame. Adjust as needed.
