Broom Removal

  1. Park machine safely (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section).

  2. Avoid damage! Lower the park stands before lowering broom to ground or bristles can be damaged.

    Install parking stands in lowered position.

  3. Lower broom on gauge wheels and parking stands.

    Pull back collar (A) on PTO shaft coupler. Pull driveshaft straight back until it disconnects from PTO output shaft (B).

    Put PTO shaft support (A) in support position. Put PTO shaft on support.


  6. Pull both L-pins (B) outward and turn to unlocked position with roll pins in grooves.

  7. Push lower hydraulic control lever on tractor forward to lower front hitch.

    Drive tractor back slowly until notches (A) in hitch disengage from pins (B) on broom frame.


  9. Avoid Injury! When the attachment is removed, also remove any ballast that was added to the machine. Use only attachments and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

    Remove any ballast.
