Adjusting Lift Height
CAUTION: Avoid injury! Lift pedal is spring-assisted and can
have unexpected movement. Lock lift pedal when installing or removing
attachment.

Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

Raise snowblower to maximum height.

Measure distance from scraper blade (A) to ground. It should
be roughly 12.7 cm (5 in.) at both ends of the scraper blade.
NOTE: If the lift height is adjusted too high, the front hitch
pivot bottoms out. Also, the lift pedal lock handle does not engage
(models with mechanical lift system). If the lift height
is adjusted too low, the drive belt can be put into extreme angles
during use, resulting in belt derailment. If machine is equipped with
HDAP tires, the lift height is slightly less.

If needed, adjust one or both locknuts (B) to achieve a height
of 12.7 cm (5 in.) when fully raised.
