A - Auger Gearbox Plug

B - Snowblower Drive Gearbox Plug

Neither the auger gearbox or snowblower drive gearbox has serviceable components. However, both gearboxes have removable plugs for checking oil level, and adding oil if necessary.

To check gearbox oil levels:

1. This service should be performed with the snowblower removed from the machine and the snowblower drive gearbox approximately level.

2. Remove front plug (A) from auger gearbox. Oil level should be at the bottom of the check plug hole. Add additional oil if necessary.

3. Remove rear plug (B) from snowblower drive gearbox. Oil level should be at the bottom of the check plug hole. Add additional oil if necessary.
