Raising and Lowering Blade

CAUTION: Avoid injury! Attachment can lower rapidly. Attachment is heavy and can crush.

Keep bystanders, especially children, away when lowering attachment.

Support raised attachment with a mechanical stop or lower completely to the ground before servicing.


Models with Foot Pedal

    A - Lift Pedal

    B - Lock Lever

    To lower blade: Push lift pedal (A) partway, push down on lift lock lever (B) to unlock, then slowly release pressure on lift pedal.


  2. To raise blade: Push foot pedal (A) all the way down (towards front of machine), and pull up on lock lever (B) to lock blade into raised position.
