Checking and Replacing Fuses

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! If incorrect replacement fuses are used, the electrical system can be damaged. Replace the bad fuse with a fuse of the same amp rating.

  1. Park the machine safely. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY.)

    Tilt seat (A) forward.



  3. Remove cover (B).

    Pull fuse from load center (C) under seat.

    Locate two fuse holders (D) near battery



  6. Pull fuse from fuse holder.

    Check visually for broken filament at location (E) in fuse.



  9. Push new fuse of correct amp rating into proper position in fuse block.

  10. Install fuse box cover and lower seat.
