Replacing Drive Belt
Avoid injury! Rotating parts catch fingers, loose clothing,
or long hair. To adjust or service machine, wait for engine and all
moving parts to stop before leaving operators station.

Park the machine safely. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY.)

Remove cargo box. (See Removing and Installing Cargo Box in
SERVICE MISCELLANEOUS.)

Remove clutch enclosure cover and clean inside. (See Servicing
Clutches and Drive Belt.)

Remove screw (A) and bearing with bushings (B).

Remove drive belt (C) from driven clutch (D).

Rotate drive clutch counterclockwise so that belt (E) clears
clutch fan (F) and housing (G).

Remove belt.
-
Install new belt.

Install bearing with bushings.

Install clutch enclosure cover.

Install air inlet hose with hose clamps.

Install cargo box. (See Removing and Installing Cargo Box in
SERVICE MISCELLANEOUS.)
