A - Bolt, Auger Shaft, M6x45

B - Bolt, Impeller, M6x45

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Replacement shear bolts must be same as original shear bolts on attachment:

• Softer bolts can shear too easily.

• Harder bolts may not shear and attachment can be damaged.

  1. Lower snowblower to ground.

  2. Stop machine.

  3. Lock park brake.

  4. Remove key.

  5. Inspect to determine which shear bolt has broken. There are four shear bolts:

    1. One bolt (A) and M6 nut on each auger shaft.

    2. Two bolts (B) and M6 locknuts securing the impeller to the auger drive shaft.

  6. Find and correct the cause for shearing.

  7. Line up auger or impeller properly. Install new shear bolts that are same size as original. M6x45 in impeller and M6x45 full thread in the auger.
