Transporting the Utility Vehicle

Use caution when operating machine at transport speeds. Reduce speeds if towed load weighs more than machine. Consult towed equipment operator’s manual for recommended transport speeds.

Use additional caution when transporting towed loads under adverse surface conditions, especially when turning, and on inclined surfaces.

Use of warning lights and turn signals are recommended when traveling on public roads unless prohibited by state or local regulations. An implement safety lighting kit is available from your John Deere dealer.

Space limitations may vary from one truck manufacturer to another. Short bed trucks do not have the necessary length requirement to accommodate the vehicle. Vehicle width to outside of tires is 1524 mm (60 in.).

Use a heavy-duty trailer, full size pick-up or flatbed truck to transport the utility vehicle.

  1. Back machine onto the trailer or truck.

  2. Turn key switch to the off “O” position.

  3. Press directional control switch into the NEUTRAL “N” position.

  4. Lock park brake.

  5. Remove key.
