Checking and Replacing Fuses

  1. Park vehicle safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

  2. Remove hood. (See Removing and Installing Hood in SERVICE MISCELLANEOUS section.)

    Locate fuses (A) on frame.



  4. Tip passenger seat forward and remove access cover under passenger seat.

    Locate fuse (B) on wiring harness.

    Remove thumb screw (C) and cover (D), and locate fuse (E) on wiring harness.



  7. Identify fuse. (See your John Deere dealer for this fuse.)

    Use same value as removed

  8. Pull appropriate fuse and check for broken filament. Replace fuse with exact same voltage.

  9. The electrical system may be damaged if incorrect replacement fuses are used. Replace the bad fuse with a fuse of the same amp rating.

    Push new fuse of correct amp rating and voltage into proper position.

  10. Install seat base cover and passenger seat.

  11. Install hood.
