Lifting Machine

The machine can fall or slip from an unsafe lifting device or supports.

  • Use a safe lifting device rated for the load to be lifted.
  • Lower machine onto jack stands or other stable supports and block wheels before servicing.

Be certain to include any bolt heads or embossed areas inside jack cup to prevent slipping.

Remove all attachments prior to lifting machine.


Lifting Rear

  1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

  2. If only lifting rear of machine, block front wheels remaining on ground to avoid movement of machine.

  3. Rear of machine may be raised using one of any of the three points shown (A) or points (B). Be certain to always use jack stands close to raise point of jack to support machine before servicing.

    Safely lift rear of machine frame point (A) or locations (B).



  4. If raising entire rear of machine, place jack stands or other stable supports under two frame locations (B).

  5. To lower machine, lift rear of machine, and remove jack stands or supports. Lower machine.


Lifting Front

  1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

  2. If only lifting front of machine, block rear wheels remaining on ground to avoid movement of machine.

  3. Front of machine may be raised using one of any of the three points shown (A) or points (B). Be certain to always use jack stands close to raise point of jack to support machine before servicing.
