Operating Machine in the Field

1. Unfold boom. (See UNFOLDING BOOM in this section.)

2. Depress raise/lower switch (A) to position boom at desired operating height.

3. Depress switch (A) to engage solution pump.

4. If agitation is desired, turn agitation system "ON" using switch (B).

5. Press "RUN" button on monitor to view spray operation display on monitor screen.

6. Push hydro lever (A) slowly forward to start forward motion.

7. Press left and/or right solution spray control switches (B) (and center switch-if equipped), to turn individual boom spray sections "ON".

8. Depress Master ON switch (C) to turn spray system "ON".

IMPORTANT: Spray system shut-down is not immediate. Solution flow will continue for a short period of time (approximately 1-3 seconds) after depressing OFF switch. For best response time and coverage, turn spray OFF as you slow for row end.

9. At row end, depress right-hand side of Master ON/OFF switch (A) to stop spraying. All other switches can remain in pre-set positions.

IMPORTANT: Spray system start-up is not immediate. To overcome delayed response, depress ON switch while moving forward to start spraying just before solution is actually needed.

10. When aligned with next row, depress left-hand side of Master ON/OFF switch (B) to resume spraying.
