Operating Auxiliary Hydraulic Function-If Equipped

causym CAUTION: Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body from high pressure fluids.

If an accident occurs, see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin must be surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result. Doctors unfamiliar with this type of injury should reference a knowledgeable medical source. Such information is available from Deere & Company Medical Department in Moline, Illinois, U.S.A.

NOTE: To help identify and properly connect hoses, a Hose Identification Kit is available from your John Deere dealer.

1. Attach pressure and return hoses (from attachment) to couplers (A).

2. Start engine and depress switch (A) to operate auxiliary hydraulics. Turn switch "off" when not in use.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT leave auxiliary hydraulics engaged when not being used to operate an attachment. Operating auxiliary hydraulic system without an attachment will cause excessive heating of oil which will impair operation of steering system and other hydraulic functions.
