Adjusting Headlights
1.
Park machine on level ground, 8 m (25 ft) from a wall.

2.
Measure height of center of lamps above ground and place a strip of masking tape on wall at height of lamps (A).
3.
Sight across steering wheel to find machine centerline; mark this spot on tape (B).

4.
From centerline, mark a point 152 mm (6 in.) out in each direction (A). This locates a point directly in front of each lamp center.
5.
Turn headlights on.
6.
Locate small zone of bright light projected by each lamp. Cover other lamp, if necessary. Top of zone should be 130 mm (5 in.) below tape (B). Left edge of zone should be 130 mm (5 in.) left of lamp center (C).

7.
Remove clip (A).
8.
Turn top screw (B) in and bottom screw (C) out to lower light beam. Turn bottom screw in and top screw out to raise beam.
9.
Turn both screws in equally to move light beam away from centerline. Turn both screws out to move beam closer to centerline.
10.
Adjust white plastic retainer and install clip.
