The foam marker switch is located on the SETUP page of SPRAYSTAR ™ display and has five positions:

  • "OFF"
  • "AUTO LO"

  • "MAN LO"
  • "MAN HI"

When switch is in "MAN LO" or "MAN HI" position, the operator controls which side the marker is operating. When the switch is in "AUTO LO" or "AUTO HI" position, the foam marker automatically switches from one side to the other when the solution spray master switch is turned off and then on again, or if switch on top of hydro lever is pushed.

Switch (A) on hydro lever is a three-function switch used to select right-hand and left-hand foam markers. The foam marker is off when the center switch is pressed.

The foam output is adjustable by turning the rate control knob (B) on the foamer power unit. Turning the rate control knob clockwise decreases the amount of foam in low position. Turning rate control knob counter-clockwise increases the foam rate. When the foam marker control switch in SPRAYSTAR ™ display is in "AUTO LO" or "MAN LO" position, the foam rate can be adjusted from zero foam output to maximum output. When foam marker control switch in SPRAYSTAR ™ displays is in "AUTO HI" or "MAN HI" position, maximum foam output is supplied.
