Final Drive Oil

Use oil viscosity based on the expected air temperature range during the period between oil changes.

The following oils are preferred:

• John Deere EXTREME-GARD
• John Deere GL-5 GEAR LUBRICANT

Other oils may be used if they meet the following:

API Service Classification GL-5

NOTE: Planetary hubs are filled with SAE 85W-140 oil at factory.
