Symptom Problem Solution

No foam coming out.

Air not blowing into tank.

Make sure lines into compressor are connected properly.

Not enough solution in tank.

Fill solution tank.

Threaded tank cap improperly installed.

Install properly.

Vent valve open.

Close valve.

In-line filter clogged.

Clean filter.

Damaged or pinched air and/or liquid lines.

Repair lines.

Tank not pressurized.

Check for leaks.

Flow control valve closed.

Open valve approximately two turns.

Air shut-off diaphragm is stuck.

Clean air shut-off valves.

Electric air shut-off valves not working.

Repair or replace electric valves.

Anti-siphon valves not operating.

Repair or replace valves.

Hi-lo valve not working.

Repair or replace.

Compressor not running.

Check fuses/wiring/brushes.

Solution in tank is old.

Drain tank, rinse and mix fresh solution.

Hard water.

Use water softener.

Poor quality concentrate.

Use proper concentrate.

Increase concentrate.

Foam too wet.

Clogged in-line filter or foamer heads.

Clean.

Liquid flow control valve set too high.

Decrease liquid flow.

Not enough foam concentrate in solution.

Increase concentrate.

Foam is surging.

Too much foam concentrate in solution.

Decrease concentrate.

Solution runs out quickly.

Liquid flow control valve set too high.

Decrease liquid flow.

Not enough foam concentrate in solution.

Increase concentrate.

Foam blowing in windy conditions.

Foam too light.

Mix solution with less concentrate or more water.
