Transport Safely

Keep away from overhead power lines. Serious injury or death can result should machine contact electrical wires. Know the transport height and width of your machine. Check and follow local regulations before transporting.

DO NOT transport without first folding the booms.

14.3 M (47 FT) REAR FOLD BOOMS: Fold left-hand boom FIRST, then right-hand boom. Attach safety chain (A) to boom as shown. Lower boom to lowest position for transport.

18.3 M (60 FT) FRONT FOLD BOOM: Transport only with booms folded and sitting in the boom rests.

Latch brake pedals together.

Stop slowly to avoid "nose diving".

Keep SMV emblem and reflectors clean and in place.

When towing the machine with tow bar attachment, have valve in "TOW" position, have the warning lights flashing, have planetary hubs disengaged and do not exceed 32 km/h (20 mph).
