Cleaning Radiator, Condenser and Oil Cooler

1. Remove engine doors (A) and radiator screens (B).

2. Loosen wing nut (A) and disconnect hose from J-clamps along bottom of mainframe above engine. Slide oil cooler/condenser (B) out to stop.

CAUTION: Always wear eye protection when cleaning with compressed air. A filter type respirator is also advised to avoid inhalation of harmful particles.

3. Clean the radiator screens by blowing compressed air from the inside to the outside of the screens.

4. Being careful not to damage cooling fins, use compressed air to clean oil cooler/condenser. Blow air from the back side forward to free trash which was drawn in from the front side.

5. Being careful not to damage cooling fins, clean the engine radiator (A) by directing compressed air from a long 90 degree air nozzle through the radiator from back to front. Also clean the fan shroud.

6. Blow or vacuum out any debris which has settled in and around the front of the machine to prevent it from being drawn into the radiators by the fan.

7. Repeat cleaning procedures until all debris is removed.

NOTE: Under severe conditions steam cleaning may be required.

8. Slide oil cooler/condenser back into original position and install hose in J-clamps.

9. Replace any damaged foam pieces, then replace all access panels and screens, to seal out as much trash as possible.
