Unfolding Rear-Fold Boom

causym CAUTION: To avoid personal injury or death to you or others do not unfold boom if any of the following conditions exist:

If machine is near electrical wires.

If anyone is near the machine.

If machine is on a slope or grade.

Move machine to an open area and/or clear bystanders and objects away from machine before unfolding boom.

1. Disconnect transport chain (A).

2. Start engine. Depress left-hand fold/level switch (A) to unfold and level left boom sections; then right-hand fold/level switch (B) to unfold and level right boom sections. Shut off engine.

3. Lift outer boom sections off intermediate sections to release boom fold lockup (A).

4. Unfold outer boom section and install "L" pin (A) and spring lock pin.
