Preparing 7000 Series Tractor for Machine With Lift-Assist

CAUTION: Serious personal injury to you or others can occur if you attempt to disconnect hydraulic hoses under pressure. Relieve pressure before disconnecting hydraulic hoses.

1. Place hose (A) in retract port (inside) on SCV No. 1 on tractor.

2. Adjust SCV No. 1 flow control (B) to full flow setting by turning control fully counterclockwise.

3. Adjust detent selector knob (A) to center position (loader symbol) to reduce tractor heat load.

4. Verify (install if needed) that lever lock on control console is properly installed.

5. Disable electric hitch valve by pulling 10 AMP fuse No.5 (A) labeled HCU and store in No.11 socket (B).

NOTE: Raising and lowering of the implement is now done with SCV No.1 lever as single lever control.
