Adjusting Rate of Drop on 8000 Series Tractors

CAUTION: Excessive drop speed can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Correct drop speed should be at least two seconds for machine to fully lower.

The rockshaft drops faster when heavy implement is attached. Turn control knob (A) counterclockwise (B) to decrease drop speed, or clockwise (C) to increase drop speed. An empty hitch may not lower when control knob is fully counterclockwise.

Selected drop speed will be maximum which can occur when any of rockshaft controls are used, in either "position" or "draft" operating modes.
