Attaching Machine With Lift-Assist to 4555/60, 4755/60, and 4955/60 Tractors

1. Back tractor to implement using hitch control lever to attach implement. NOTE: If center link cylinder must be adjusted, place SCV No. 1 lever in float and use cylinder stroke control to pull cylinder out and tip quick-coupler back. Retract stroke control SCV No. 1 lever can now be used to shorten center link cylinder for final hook-up adjustment. 2. Lock quick coupler latches. |
3. Turn hitch control switch (A) to OFF for Single Lever Control. 4. Raise parking stands and lower implement to the ground by moving hitch control to full down position. 5. Turn tractor OFF. 6. Connect the three implement hydraulic hoses to tractor auxiliary quick coupler (B), SCV No. I (C), and center link cylinder (D). |

7. Connect seven-pin warning light harness at back of tractor. 8. Start tractor engine. 9. See that there is adequate clearance around machine to provide safe operation, then cycle all |
hydraulic cylinders two or three times to check proper control operation. Check tractor hydraulic oil reservoir level, and fill if necessary. |
