Attaching Machine to Tractor Without Quick-Coupler
CAUTION:
Machine can fall and cause serious injury or death to you or others. Before attaching machine to tractor be sure hitch pins and spacers are completely assembled to match the hitch configuration of your tractor. (See Preparing the Machine section.)
IMPORTANT:
Damage to tractor cab can occur if frame gauge wheels are improperly positioned. Ensure that frame gauge wheels do not contact cab when machine is in raised and folded position.
NOTE:
Adjust lift links to maximum length. If additional ground clearance is required, shorten links as necessary but maintain adequate cab clearance in the raised and folded position.
1.
Back tractor and align draft links (A) with hitch pins (B).
2.
Place transmission in "PARK," stop engine and set brakes.
3.
Extend draft links and adjust length of lift links (G) to allow installation of hitch pins.
4.
Install hitch pins and secure quick-lock pins (C).
IMPORTANT:
Damage to tractor cab can occur if centerlink is improperly adjusted. Raise machine slowly and check that center link is adjusted long enough to prevent machine from coming in contact with tractor cab in raised and folded position.
5.
Adjust length of center link (D); then fasten to mast ball (F) and secure latch lever (E). Level machine with center link. (See Leveling Machine Frame in this Section.)
6.
Raise parking stands.
