Detaching Machine With Lift-Assist From 4050/55, 4250/55 and 4450/55 Tractors

CAUTION: Implement can tip over and cause serious injury or death to you or others if unhitched incorrectly. Lower parking stands before unhitching machine.

When parking or storing folding machine in folded position, front and rear parking stands are required.

1. Lower parking stands.

2. Lower machine onto a level surface.

3. Loosen center link as necessary to remove load from hitch.

4. Disconnect seven-pin warning light harness and place in storage receptacle.

CAUTION: Serious personal injury to you or others can occur if you attempt to disconnect hydraulic hoses under pressure. Relieve pressure before disconnecting hydraulic hoses.

5. Relieve hydraulic pressure and disconnect hydraulic hoses.

6. (Without Quick-Coupler) Remove center link pin, disconnect center link and remove hitch pins.

(With Quick-Coupler), Release latch levers.

7. Detach tractor from machine.

8. Close tractor outlet covers or install dust plugs in tractor outlets. Connect lift-assist wheel hoses (A).

NOTE: Hose must be connected for a three-point hitch to work when machine is detached.
