Control Levers Without Lift Assist Wheel (Attachment)
Raise and lower machine with the tractor rockshaft control lever. The hydraulic function lever is used to raise the wings to a slight angle for turning at end of rows, and for folding for transport.
IMPORTANT:
The wings MUST BE raised at least five degrees when turning at row ends. NEVER turn with machine in the ground.
Without Frame Gauge Wheels: Set depth adjusting control to maintain 559 mm (22 in.) frame height.
With Frame Gauge Wheels on Wings Only: Set hydraulic function lever to float. Use depth adjusting control to maintain center frame at 559 mm (22 in.).
With Frame Gauge Wheels on Center Frame and Wings: Adjust the rockshaft and hydraulic function lever to float positions.
