Down-Pressure Springs

NOTE: The primary arm on each end of center frame on folding machines are different than other primary arms on machine.

Two springs per primary arm provide satisfactory results in most conditions.

Unhook one of the springs for selective down pressure, such as in bed cultivation.

NOTE: The combination of speed, mainframe height, and down pressure springs affect the penetration of the hoe tines. A higher speed or lower mainframe height will increase penetration. Observe results, then adjust if necessary.
