Front Ballast-Two Wheel Drive and MFWD Tractors

CAUTION: If ballast recommendations are not followed, transport stability can be affected which can result in serious injury or death to you or others. Ballast recommendations provide adequate transport stability. When operating the tractor in lower gears, under 6.5 km/h (4 mph), add front end weight to the maximum permissible for satisfactory field performance and to prevent serious injury or death to you or others if the tractor tips over. See your tractor Operator's Manual.

Tractor front end stability is necessary for safe and efficient operation. It is important that the proper amount of weight be installed on the front of the tractor as recommended in your tractor Operator's Manual.

NOTE: For mechanical front wheel drive tractors, the Implement Code table in this section will not change.
