Attaching Machine to Tractor

causym CAUTION: Serious injury or death can result if you or others are caught between the implement and tractor while attaching or detaching. Avoid interference areas and have tractor in "Park" if using external raise/lower switches. When connecting to tractor, be sure to have anyone helping stay clear of machine and engage lock latch handles only after quick-couplers are engaged.

NOTE: It may be necessary to lengthen the center link to attach. If so, be sure to reset the center link to its proper length specified in chart. (See tractor Operator's Manual.)

1. Back the tractor until quick-coupler upper hook passes under mast pin (A).

2. Raise coupler with tractor rockshaft control lever until hitch pins (B) are resting in quick-coupler lower hooks.

3. Raise V-Ripper 50 mm (2 in.) off ground and lock quick-coupler latch handles.
