Shear-Bolt Coulter Depth Adjustment

Adjust the coulters as specified, only deep enough to cut the trash.

causym CAUTION: Coulter blades are heavy and sharp. Removing coulter shear bolt or loosening pivot bolt will cause the blade to drop and can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Prevent injury by keeping away from underneath the coulter blade when removing shear bolt or loosening pivot bolt.

Remove nut and shear bolt (A) to adjust the coulter. Loosen top nut (B) securing coulter arm to coulter pivot. Move coulter up or down as desired. Secure the coulter with the shear nut and bolt. Tighten shear bolt to specification.
