Replacing Slip-On Point

The standard replaceable slip-on point (A) allows you to exchange a worn or damaged standard point with a new one.

1. To replace a point, remove 1/2 x 2-3/8 in. SAE Grade 8 Flange Bolt (B) and nut from the point and standard.

2. Pull old point off standard and slide a new point onto standard. Install flange bolt and nut removed in step 1.

IMPORTANT: Do not overtighten flange bolt and nut.
