Replacing Springs on Spring-Reset Rock Standard

causym CAUTION: DO NOT remove stop bolts in spring arms until spring tension has been reduced or the spring could fly off and cause serious injury or death to you or others.

1. Unscrew jam and adjusting nuts (B) until the spring guide (C) is almost touching the stop bolts (A).

2. Remove both stop bolts.

3. Continue to unscrew the two nuts until the guide and springs can slide off the arms.

4. Reinstall new spring(s), guide, nuts, and stop bolts.

5. Tighten adjusting nut until specified length (E) is attained, or the guide is touching the weld (D).
