For Tractors with Electronic Hitch-Using Draft Control

When load/depth mix control is located in numbered area (A), rockshaft moves automatically to maintain desired combination of draft load and depth, as set by rockshaft control lever.

Implement depth remains fairly constant on uneven terrain and varies slightly when passing through "tough" spots in soil. Frequent gear shifting and/or rockshaft control lever adjusting is minimized.

Load/depth mix control setting depends on implement being used and field or soil conditions. Recommended setting for a V-Ripper is 0-1.

Adjusting load/depth mix control varies "mix" of position and draft control. Clockwise rotation increases draft response. Counterclockwise rotation reduces draft response. Choose setting which provides desired control of implement depth. The setting you choose will depend on amount of soil and terrain variation. Use illustration as a guideline.
