Transport Safely

When transporting machine on a road or highway at night or during day, use lights and devices for adequate warning to other vehicle operators. In this regard, check local governmental regulations. Various safety lights and devices are available from your John Deere dealer.

Keep away from overhead power lines. Serious injury or death may result. Know transport height and width of your machine. Check local regulations before transporting.

Always fold wings fully and close transport lock-up valve.

Latch tractor brakes together.

Shift tractor in a lower gear when transporting down steep slopes or hills. Stop slowly.

Keep SMV emblem and reflectors clean and visible from rear.

Do not exceed 32 km/h (20 mph).

Machine is hitch light when equipped with 3-bar spike tooth harrow with rolling baskets. Upward force on hitch may cause instability. Add ballast to tractor as required to maintain stability.
