Symptom Problem Solution

Pressure gauge near zero when frame is lowered and SCV lever is held forward for a few seconds.

Hose routing between pressure control valve and leveling cylinder incorrect.

See your John Deere dealer.

Pressure gauge shows pressure as frame is raised.

Hose routing between pressure control valve and leveling cylinder incorrect.

Frame raises when SCV lever is held forward and lowers when SCV lever is held rearward.

Hydraulic hoses are connected to tractor incorrectly.

Switch hoses in SCV couplers.

Pressure gauge shows zero or frame front end will not stay down.

SCV lever too far forward. Valve in FLOAT position.

Install SCV stop in proper position to hold SCV lever forward and valve open.

Front stabilizer wheels are held slightly above ground.

SCV lever not far enough forward. Valve in NEUTRAL position.

Install SCV stop in proper position to hold SCV lever forward and valve open.

Frame does not float over undulating ground.

SCV lever not in forward position.

Install SCV stop in proper position to hold lever forward.

No reading on gauge.

Using open center tractor.

Use tractor equipped with closed center hydraulics.
