Leveling Frame Front-to-Rear-Floating Hitch (Without Hydraulic Front-End Frame Hold-Down Attachment)

IMPORTANT: Check that tires are inflated to correct pressure before leveling frame. Perform following procedure on a level surface.

PRELIMINARY LEVELING:

1. Unfold wings to field position.

2. Lower machine until sweeps are 25 mm (1 in.) above level surface.

3. Measure ground clearance at rear main frame corners.

NOTE: Adjustment wrench is provided with machine.

4. Loosen jam nut (A) and turn turnbuckle (B) until frame ground clearance is equal (front-to-rear) and sweeps are equal distance from surface. Tighten jam nut.

5. Repeat on all wheels.

FINAL LEVELING:

IMPORTANT: For best results, perform final leveling in field under normal operating conditions at desired depth and normal speed.

Observe machine from side as it travels past you in field. Adjust turnbuckles as needed to maintain level frame (front-to-rear).
