Leveling Frame Front-to-Rear-Level Lift Hitch

IMPORTANT: Check that tires are inflated to correct pressure before leveling frame. Perform following procedure on a level surface.

PRELIMINARY LEVELING:

1. Unfold wings to field position (if equipped).

2. Lower machine until sweeps are 51 mm (2 in.) above level surface.

3. Measure ground clearance at rear main frame corners.

NOTE: Adjustment wrench is provided with machine.

4. Loosen jam nut (A) and turn turnbuckle (B) until frame ground clearance is slightly higher 6.4-12.7 mm (1/4-1/2 in.) in front. This will compensate for natural draft forces during operation. Tighten jam nut.

FINAL LEVELING:

IMPORTANT: For best results, perform final leveling in field under normal operating conditions at desired depth and normal speed.

Observe machine from side as it travels past you in field. Adjust turnbuckle to provide level main frame (from front-to-rear).
