Leveling Wings (Side-to-Side)-Flexible Fold Models

IMPORTANT: Check that tires are inflated to correct pressure before leveling wings. Perform following procedure on a level surface.

Rephase depth control cylinders before leveling.

NOTE: Level adjustment may not be same for both wings, due to variations in manufacturing. Adjust each wing so it is level front-to-rear.

PRELIMINARY LEVELING:

1. Unfold wings to field position.

2. Lower machine so sweeps are 51 mm (2 in.) above level surface. Check that center frame is level.

3. Measure ground clearance at wing rear bar.

NOTE: Adjustment wrench is provided with machine.

4. Loosen jam nut (A) and turn adjustment bolt (B) until wing ground clearance is equal to main frame and all sweeps are same distance from surface. Tighten jam nut.

5. Repeat process on opposite wing.

FINAL LEVELING:

IMPORTANT: For best results, perform final leveling in field under normal operating conditions at desired depth and normal speed.

Observe machine from rear. Adjust wings to provide a level profile (end-to-end) as machine moves away.
